Occupational First Aid Skill Set


The Paramedical Services Occupational First Aid Skill Set (HLTSS00027) course provides students with a set of skills to establish, maintain and facilitate the provision of appropriate first aid in a workplace environment, including the skills to provide an emergency first aid response in the event of an emergency. This skill set has been endorsed by industry as appropriate for people who are either employed in, or intending to become employed in, nominated occupational first aider roles.

Entry requirements

There are no entry requirements for this course, you can enrol at the Paramedical Services School at any time.

Course duration

The Paramedical Services Provide Advanced Resuscitation (HLTAID007) course is conducted face-to-face over 24 hours (3 days) classroom training and assessment (with online or workbook pre work). You will receive access to our online student portal for the pre course work, our occupational first aid emergency manual, training and assessment, HLTSS00027 Statement of Attainment, Practice face mask and your student activity workbook to complete on the training day.
