The Paramedical Services Manage First Aid Services and Resources (HLTAID008) course provides students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to describe the skills and knowledge required to establish, maintain and facilitate the provision of appropriate first aid in the workplace. The unit applies to workers in nominated occupational first aid or management roles.

Students who successfully complete the paramedical Services nationally recognised training will be awarded the statement of attainment for Manage First Aid services and Resources (HLTAID008).

Paramedical Services have a highly credentialed and qualified team of Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics and Intensive Care Paramedics who provide an interactive and practical understanding of the requirements of determining workplace first aid requirements, establishing and maintaining workplace first aid facilities, maintain workplace first aid records and reviewing the provision of first aid in your workplace.

There are no entry requirements for this course, you can enroll at the Paramedical Services School at any time.

Course duration

The Paramedical Services Manage First Aid Services and Resources (HLTAID008) course is conducted face-to-face over 6 hours which includes didactic and practical sessions. The recommended industry standard to maintain current competency for Manage First Aid Services and Resources (HLTAID008) course is every 3 years.
