The Paramedical Services “Certificate IV Training and Assessment” (TAE40110) is designed and reflects the role of individual delivering training and assessment in the vocational education and training sector. This program has often been described as the “train the trainer” course that prepares students with the critical and necessary training and assessment skills to design and develop learning programs and courses. Key components of this course include how to how to make a presentation, analyse and present research information, arrange and deliver group-based learning; how to enable and facilitate learning in the workplace; and how to contribute to assessment and plan assessments activities and processes.

About the Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40110) course

Our Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40110) is aligned to the Australian Quality Training Framework and allows students to potentially work as enterprise trainer, enterprise assessor, registered training organisation (RTO) trainer, RTO assessor, training adviser or training needs analyst and vocational education teacher.

Training.gov.au* state that “the achievement of this qualification or an equivalent by trainers and assessors is a requirement of the Australian Quality Training Framework Essential Standards for Registration (Standard 1 as outlined in Appendix 2 of the Users' Guide to the Essential Standards for Registration)”.

Entry requirements

There are no entry requirements for this course, you can enroll at the Paramedical Services School at any time.

Course duration

The delivery method is face-to-face trainer led learner and on line and distant learning incorporating inspiring assessment and learning activities. These activities may involve small groups, individual learning and experiential learning and workplace based projects.

The course is conducted in two formats a five (5) day workshop, which consists of a combination of 5 day workshop combined with additional home study. Students must complete this course within 0.5 - 2 years of commencement.

In addition Paramedical Services undertakes Training and Assessment teaching packages for Corporate and Government groups across NSW.
