We are Paramedical Services

Paramedical Services is an ISO 9001 accredited, privately owned Australian company established in 1991 to provide community and corporate clients with an improved standard of education in pre-hospital care, sporting and industrial medical support, Work Injury Response Service (WIRS) and non-emergency patient transport.

Paramedical Services operates out of NSW and South Australia, employing over 50 full time and casual staff, with a fleet of 13 ambulances.

Some of our business achievements include:

  • The first private Paramedics accredited by the NSW Health Department, to carry and use scheduled       medications. An accreditation which was obtained and maintained since 1994.
     
  • The first organisation to establish a Private Ambulance Service providing on-site emergency medical response to major and specific events; ie: Bathurst 1000, V8 touring Car Events, National Drag Racing, Motor Bike and Motor Cross Events.
     
  • Implemented a 24 hour / 7 day casualty triage and medical response service to business and industry with the objective of transporting their injured employee to an appropriate medical facility and managing their return to  work with minimum of work down time.
     
  • As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) we developed and have been leaders in pre-hospital care training. Our unique Certificate IV Rescue Medical Technician (RMT) articulates into the Diploma or Bachelor of Health Science paramedic, provided under the auspices of the Charles Sturt University and given credits towards those programs.
     
  • We provide a non-emergency patient transport service and have demonstrated on time patient pick-up and a carring patient focused service by our medically qualified and competent staff.

Our Personnel :

  • Paramedical Services have a highly dedicated and professional group of full time and casual Paramedics and RMTs who are committed to providing a caring, professional service which is customer focused.

  • This professional team is supported by dedicated and capable administration and clerical staff. The organisation is lead by Garry Mikhail who is the Managing Director of Paramedical Services, who has dedicaed his whole working career to the provision of quality patient care, firstly as a medic in the Royal Australian Navy for 6 years, then as a paramedic with the NSW Ambulance for 13 years where he reached the rank and position of Paramedic Station Officer Special Casualty Access Team (SCAT).
